I sing musical songs with Kelly Hogan, the only musician friend I have who can not only go toe to toe with me but often kick my butt on such questions as, What year was Fat City released? and What was Susan Tyrell's character's name in Big Top Pee-Wee? and Speaking of Pee-Wee, what were the names of the actors who played Miss Yvonne? Dixie the Beautiful Trumpeter? Mrs. Renee? and, perhaps most crucially, Who was more lovable on Zoom!, Luiz or Jay? In fact we went toe to toe on so much last Friday when we were supposed to be running songs for our show, we don't really have much of a show. But if you want the kind of show where everyone knows what he's supposed to be doing then go see Guy Lombardo and the boys.
