Boy, do the stars come out on this one: musical accompaniment by The Skeletons (Bio), co-writing by Jim DeWan, impetus by the dread Nashville publishing concern for whom my failure to produce any hit songs seems to have fueled the entire, modest career I have since generated. When said Music City concern lost interest in demoing my songs, I headed to the Skele-Compound in Springfield, Mo. with a fresh crop of what I considered mildly revolting yet commercially plausible word paintings. But from my maturer perspective today this one would seem to lack commercial legs, and I must say it revolts me very little, except for the bridge, which is awful.
