Unreleased track. Was briefly available as part of Robbie's RobbieFulks.Com MP3 collection. Robbie's notes about the song are below.
Well, isn’t this interesting? I had the Foo Fighters somewhere in my mind when I wrote it, although the Cheap Trick influence has been discerned by independent observers. This is one of four songs I demoed in Kerry Kelekovich’s basement in January 1997, using Steve Albini’s heavy, metal guitar and some guy from Bush’s gorgeous new D’Aquisto. Drumming is Dan Massey, who actually thought he was playing on a folk-rock ballad until he heard the final product some weeks later. I remember the bassist, Glenn DeMichele, having some trouble playing the 6-bar solo passage toward the end because it was so dumb. We put together a slower, trippier "Argonaut (Song)" for our live shows in the fall of 1998, to the general public’s evident bemusement; but this is another case where the general public should just go to hell.
