When Jim DeWan and I did monthly shows at the Augenblick, a wonderful and much-missed little bar on Chicago’s north side, we made titles submitted by the audience into songs. In this fashion I added about 40 songs to my catalog in the early 90’s. Some of my efforts, like "I’m Eatin’ Chickens," "It Got Me Out of Oklahoma," "Birdie Num Num," and "A Shot of Blonde (and a Brunette Chaser)," failed to live up to their titular promise; a few others ("Isn’t It Time We Had It All?") exceeded it; and on this one, I think a rough parity was achieved. I’m on electric guitar with The Skeletons (Bio)’ rhythm section, and Donny Thompson contributes the show-off stuff.
