I play a lot and sing a bit with Michael Miles, whose approach to frailing the banjo is sometimes austere, usually urbane, and, like the 59th Street bridge, always groovy. Among other tunes, we'll hit Grandpa Jones, J.S. Bach, Richard Thompson, and Jimmie Driftwood. I plan on picking up the 5-string a few times for some banjo duets. Hey, Belushi sang with Cocker, didn't he?
