She's there, I'm on my way, and we're fixin' to play. Come see us on Vashon Island, come see us in Seattle -- details on the right -- but most of all, come see us in Portland at Mississippi Studios! Because it'll be Monday night and that makes me a little nervous. It's traditionally been a good packed house at that place but...Monday night? It just worked out that way. Jenny and I are working on some "weird" (according to the New Yorker) music out there and thought we'd "do some fucking gigs" (a la Poison, between-songs banter collage, Celebrities at Their Worst). Come see what all of Brooklyn has been buzzing about...in a glib, heavy-lidded, emotionally monotone way.
This'll be my last post for a little while, till just before or just after Christmas. See if you can live without me and my little pronunciamentoes. Paste my face on your tree ornaments, carol the neighbors with "Fuck This Town," and I'll be back before you know it!
